Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a technically astute, qualified finance professional to take ownership of the finance function for an established property investment SME based in the heart of London!

Morgan McKinley have been exclusively retained by a prestigious London based property investment and development business. As a key player to a select group of co-investment partners, our client seeks to employ a dynamic, enthusiastic, and hands-on Finance Manager to take charge of the entire finance function. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of this exclusive, well-established business in a prime location.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day finance operations, including but not limited to accounts payable, receivable, payroll, invoicing, banking, and general ledger activities.
  • Oversee and manage the complete financial spectrum, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure the company's financial health.
  • Implement and maintain robust cashflow management strategies.
  • Drive the implementation of financial processes, controls, and systems to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and maintain compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, standards, and legal requirements. Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to contribute insights for strategic financial planning, risk management, and decision-making processes.
  • Generate insightful financial reports, perform variance analysis, and present findings to the leadership team. Provide recommendations for improvement based on data-driven insights.
  • Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, auditors, and financial institutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified ACA or ACCA with 1-2 years PQE experience.
  • Proven track record in implementing financial processes, controls, and systems.
  • Extensive experience in day-to-day finance operations.
  • Previous experience in a stand-alone finance function
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
