An industrial flooring contractor is looking for a health and safety manager to join their busy team. The ideal candidate must available for an immediate start and this role will involve working across Mainland Europe and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all duties in accordance HSEQS compliance requirements
• Promote best practice regarding all Health and Safety requirements outlined
• Constant review of site-specific RAMS and Lifting Plans
• Good communication and co-ordination of activities with the Project Site Manager, Site Supervisors and main contractor
• Attend weekly HSE Meetings and comply with all reasonable requests
• Weekly inspections of plant and machinery to be recorded with a logbook relating to maintenance and inspection
• Provide information and advice relating to H&S issues
• Prepare toolbox talks

Key Requirements:

• Relevant third level qualification
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in a similar health and safety role
• Must hold NEBOSH certification
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective team player
• Have the ability to implement agreed changes
• Be self-motivated and use initiative
