I am looking to speak with experienced Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysts on a new position that has come available with a client of mine based in Co. Kerry.
The successful candidate will join a high performing SOC team.
The Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for identifying and analysing security threats and vulnerabilities in a large and complex environment.
The following are the required skills and experience in order to be successful in this position:
Monitoring of commercial and open source intelligence feeds to identify relevant threats to the organisation.
Production of reports on CTI topics, such as trends in attacker techniques, vulnerability intelligence, significant global cybersecurity events and trends.
Support the development of the CTI function within the organisation, influencing CTI Strategy, tools, and process.
Mentoring junior CTI analysts in the production of CTI deliverables, ensuring high quality output.
Developing and improving CTI process documentation.
Supporting Incident Response activities by analysing reported security events.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of active threat actors/malwares/intrusion sets of interest to the organisation.
Interfacing with numerous teams across the Information Security team and beyond.
Desired Skills and Experience:
5+ years of experience in cyber security experience required, ideally in a CTI or similar role.
Strong critical thinking, analysis and reporting skills are required over technical skills for this role.
Strong knowledge of CTI topics, technologies and processes.
Strong understanding of Threat Actors, eCrime ecosystem, Mitre Attack Framework and the Cyber Kill Chain.
Professional Certifications an advantage but not essential if have requisite role knowledge, GCTI, GCIH, GNFA, GFCA,
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CISSP or similar certifications are a plus.
