Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Financial Records: Utilize Computerised Accounting software to manage and maintain financial records efficiently.
- Statutory Accounts Preparation: Prepare statutory accounts for client companies on a regular basis.
- Sole Traders' Accounts: Complete accounts for sole traders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- VAT Reports and ROS Filing: Generate VAT reports and ensure timely and accurate ROS filing.
- Bank Reconciliations: Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Control Account Reconciliation: Manage the reconciliation of control accounts for precision in financial records.
- Client Queries: Address and resolve client queries promptly and effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Liaise and report to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Communication with Authorities: Interface with The Revenue Commissioners, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in Accounting Software: Strong experience in Computerised Accounting Package is essential.
- Career Progression Mindset: Desire to grow and progress within the practice.
- Tech Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for efficient task handling.
- Practice Experience: Prior practice experience is preferred, although not mandatory.
