Job Description

A leading Tech Company is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manage to join their team. Great for someone with 4+ years of experience in Supply and Demand Planning preferably in retail/technology

In overseeing and managing the Supply Chain relationship with Stores, this role is pivotal to achieving optimal business results, ensuring the right product gets to the right place at the right time, with maximum efficiency and optimal cost.

This role bridges the ideal customer experience with the most optimal end-to-end supply chain solutions, working collaboratively with the digital store group, supply/demand planning, merchandising, logistics, fulfilment and finance teams.

Overview:

Ideal candidates will demonstrate skills in managing internal and external relationships, have a solid acumen for Supply Chain, supply/demand planning, business process, performance management and demonstrate deep experience in an end-to-end supply chain. Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills and analytical thinking are also necessary to have the right level of impact and influence. This role must adopt a strong position to represent the Supply Chain organisation, both internally and externally, and to independently self-drive and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges. The key candidate will have a growth mindset and be customer centric in all decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • End to end Supply Chain responsibility for the 1st and 3rd Party product supply from launch to return/liquidation and end of life across the EMEA region.
  • Ensure proactive, data-oriented communication to key partners and customers.
  • Supply Regional Update to a Weekly/Month frequency
  • Engage regularly with stakeholders to enhance and develop regional/global capabilities to ensure improved business performance.
  • Participate in weekly/monthly planning cycle review. Offer insight and feedback to better improve regional supportability.
  • Operate, sustain and scale a diverse set of operating models (consignment, multi-channel fulfilment, Brick and Mortar) across EMEA.
  • Identify and capture Supply Chain solutions to grow Stores Business, in partnership with country managers, while balancing cost with service level and size of business.
  • Lead Freight and Logistics channel capacity planning to manage peaks and promotional periods at optimal cost.
  • Partner with customer service and external stakeholders to drive on time resolution of escalations.
  • Coordinate on time disposition of returns inventory.
  • Embrace a growth mindset culture of learning to enhance your role and your impact on the Supply Chain.
  • Explore methods of optimising Cost to Serve, ranging from order management practices to expedite costs and across any Supply Chain customer touch point that will drive profitability.
  • Ensure defective, non-retail perfect, and excess/obsolete inventory is routed as quickly as possible to the highest return value, through restocking, returning to vendor or manufacturing, liquidating, or scrapping.
  • Challenge the status quo and adopt a challenger mindset - how can we optimally service and delight our customers? What are the retail strategies and how can Supply Chain enable these strategies to drive win/win business solutions? How can we leverage analytics, customer feedback and store-level data to drive better upstream decision making and shared value?
  • Partner with internal stakeholders managing demand, supply, order to cash fulfilment and launches to deliver best in class customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Supply chain experience (+4years), preferably in ecommerce/retail planning (demand/supply) or in an inventory management role with a proven track record for improving inventory productivity and revenue opportunities across all stages of the product life cycle.
  • Experience working across multiple planning cycles and long product lead-time.
  • Customer Management Experience -delivering and exceeding both internal and external customers' expectations.
  • Customer journey experience in digital and physical fulfilment, for both speed and customer choice, while balancing investment vs. return for optimal benefit.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Data-oriented and analytical, yet balanced with an ability to be able to step back from the data to draw out the right business conclusions.
  • Problem solving skills - ability to solve problems while maintaining an excellent customer experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Experience Power Bi (or similar) preferable
  • SAP & SAP module Experience required
