Morgan McKinley have partnered with a leading multinational pharmaceutical company to recruit a Supply Chain Manager. This is a permanent role based in West Dublin with hybrid working options.
Playing a key role in the Supply Chain department, the Supply Chain Manager will manage and lead a team of experienced Buyer/Planners, developing key relationships with globally based suppliers and will be responsible for Supply Chain readiness for the timely introduction of new products and materials.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee a team of Buyer/Planners, manage performance and professional development
Responsible for the implementation of SAP for planning
Identify supply issues and recommend appropriate and effective mitigation actions
Coordinate, prepare and execute S&OP meetings with business unit leadership, completing the analysis, reports, presentations, minutes and action tracking
Capture demand forecast using global supply chain systems and processes or ad-hoc systems for products/markets
Monitor current and projected inventory for internal and external manufacturers, to detect potential supply issues and initiate/change re-supply
Design, set and monitor KPIs to accompany to continuously improve third party performance, compliance to contracts and internal team performance
Coordination of materials Receipt to Release process, coordinating cross-site functions.
Work with the finite planning lead and the and the network planning lead and master data team to create a rhythm wheel between planning activities and materials activities to ensure that activities happen in sequence
Responsible for the compilation of the planning data associated with the Budget and Financial cycles, including potencies, delivery plans, and usage factors
8+ years Sourcing and/or Supply Chain Planning experience
Knowledge of supply chain processes and systems for sourcing drug products and active pharmaceutical ingredients
Leadership and people management experiences is essential
Demonstrated analytical and problem resolution skills for supply chain issues
Advanced user-level of MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel & MS Project
Experience of SAP essential
