Job Description

Tech giant in Dublin is looking for a Solutions Engineer with experience in web technologies and using REST API's to join their team.

Role: Solutions Engineer

Duration: ASAP for 9 months

Location: Dublin

The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) prides itself in providing great service and creating innovative solutions. OPG partners with online publishers and app developers to grow their businesses using our portfolio of products including AdSense, AdMob, and Ad Manager. We offer a solutions-based approach across advertising and analytics to find new opportunities for our partners to better engage users and advertisers.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Help solve web and app tech challenges and provide technical support for beta products.
  • Partner with our Sales and Support teams to drive product adoption, interacting with our clients and engineers as needed.
  • Provide support and guidance to the our publisher and developer community
  • Provide thoughtful bug escalation, feature requests and write comprehensive documentation.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with Sales to pitch and provide technical support to partners who are onboarding onto our beta product (adsense for platforms); work with our GTM Team, Product & Engineering to ensure we have a good partner onboarding experience.
  • Create documentation, guides and checklists to enable our partners to onboard and technically integrate with our beta products.
  • Troubleshoot, problem solve client issues and escalate through through our bug tracking system; also raise feature requests coming from partner conversations.

The role:

  • Help solve web and app tech challenges and provide technical support for beta products.
  • Partner with our Sales and Support teams to drive product adoption.
  • Provide support and guidance to the our publisher and developer community
  • Provide thoughtful bug escalation, feature requests and write comprehensive documentation.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in web technologies including but not limited to CSS, HTML, HTTP, JavaScript/AJAX and XML.
  • Experience using REST APIs
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, .NET, Java, Python, Ruby
  • Customer facing experience in sales, sales engineering, consulting or related function.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Be a web tech evangelist
  • Have been passionate about web development, have at least 3 years of professional experience with web development, APIs and/or app development
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Data analysis and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal business communication and presentation skills.
