One of Irelands most successful FMCG companies is seeking an experienced employee relations specialist to oversee an on going project in one of their key sites

People and Culture Project Manager

Location: Dublin West ( Car is required)

The Role:

  • Lead the people stream for an exciting continuous improvement project on various sites over the coming years.
  • You will have the ability to relate to, influence and coach leaders at a strategic level while having the breadth of knowledge and confidence to dive into tactical and operational issues when required
  • This is not an exhaustive list. During employment with the Company, it may be necessary to expand the duties within the general scope of this position
  • Proven experience in diagnosing issues and influencing their solution/outcome
  • Work in partnership with site leaders and colleague representatives to improve employee and industrial relations.
  • Manage sometimes sensitive and complex industrial relations issues in a fair and transparent way. Provide expert advice and guidance on the legal & HR implications of management decisions
  • Build genuine and lasting relationships with key stakeholders across the Operations team.
  • Promote and ensure effective use of engagement and communication processes/mechanisms and provide proactive input for improvement in this area.
  • Delivery of timely, relevant, and efficient HR processes/projects in partnership with other HR stakeholders and resources.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing issues and influencing their solution/outcome.
  • Ownership within the Business Unit in driving performance management by coaching people managers and inspiring meaningful and candidate conversations.
  • Provide support for HR wide initiatives including engagement activities, health and wellbeing events, mental health promotion, sports and social events and care in the community initiatives.
  • Be a proactive member of the Leadership team - leading strategic projects cross-functionally as required.
  • Manage one direct report in an inclusive and supportive way, consistently providing clear KPI's and feedback against achievement.

Required:

  • 3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management essential
  • 5 years' + experience in a HR environment, preferably supporting Operational functions
  • An abundance of energy and a passion to successfully delivery ongoing change projects
  • Experience dealing with sensitive and high risk IR/ER situations is essential
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship building and collaboration with senior leaders, ability to operate effectively in a highly matrix environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Human Resource Management from recruitment and throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • The ability to multi-task and manage projects as well as supporting Business as Usual activities
  • Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with employment law issues and demonstrated experience in conflict resolution
