Medical Device Sales/ Product Specialist - Leinster

Morgan McKinley are recruiting for a Sales Specialist for post-surgery recovery in the Leinster region, for a leading healthcare products provider.

The role:

  • Thoroughly tracking your territory progress, you proactively communicate your findings with the Field sales manager you are supporting to push yourself to exceed each goal.
  • Education of Anaesthetists, Intensivists and Nursing personnel on procedures and product applications.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clinical and administrative staff in assigned accounts. Through outstanding customer service, maintain a high retention rate of current accounts in territory.
  • Provide technical training and support to medical personnel on the use of the medical devices as required
  • Seek and evaluate new product ideas, providing adequate information and facilitate ongoing communication
  • Assist in product evaluations and/or clinical studies as appropriate
  • Complete business analytics and regional reporting assignments in a timely, accurate fashion.
  • Verbally deliver clear and concise instruction on the safe and efficacious use of assigned products to customers in and out of the OR setting, including in-services for surgeons and clinical staff.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to exhibit achievement of sales goals in all assigned accounts.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive products and marketing practices, and keep sales management informed concerning them.
  • Manage inventory of assigned products in accounts, as requested, and facilitate product returns in accordance with Company policy.
  • Participate fully in training on new products and procedures through in person and online training programs. Attend regional and national meetings, as required.
  • Adjust customer complaints in accordance with Company policy and advise sales management promptly of any situation beyond the Sales Representative's scope of authority.

The Person:

  • Full clean Driver's licence is paramount for this role
  • 3-5 years' experience medical device sales
  • Demonstration of exceptional achievements of sales objectives
  • Medical device sales experience is essential
  • Highly developed interpersonal, networking and influencing skills is very important, as well as being a skilled negotiator and influencer with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and own a high degree of motivation.
  • Capacity to solicit orders from present and prospective customers for the assigned products
  • Microsoft® Office
