Job Description

In-House Legal Executive Opportunity for an experienced legal professional seeking an to join a global organisation in the transportation industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a legal executive or company secretary to work in-house for a global organisation in the transportation industry.

This is a full-time and permanent role based in Dublin, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits and flexibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Legal Manager in preparing legal documentation (agreements, contracts etc).
  • Handle the preparation and organization of various meetings (general, board, shareholders).
  • Participate in minutes drafting during meetings.
  • Contribute to meeting discussions and advise on legal and governance implications of proposed policies.
  • Manage general corporate governance.
  • Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, secretaries, etcCoordinate with external company secretary.
  • Manage the review of articles of incorporation, specific provisions, and the incorporation/dissolution of legal entities.
  • Ensure communication of decisions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Keep corporate documents and records up-to-date and ensure proper filing with regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environment
  • Ensure companies' compliance with legal and statutory requirements.

Experience and Relevant Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a legal/law firm/fiduciary in corporate services and governance.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish Corporate Law.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, and proactive.
  • Collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to build personal and professional credibility with boards, senior management teams, regulators, and advisers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Knowledge of the transportation sector is a distinct advantage but not essential.
