Our client is recruiting for a temporary experienced Grants and Payroll Supervisor to support the Central Finance Operations team in a thriving and friendly organisation.
You will be working directly with the Grants & Payroll Administration team (currently three people) within a wider team of ten people. The role will be varied and requires a strong, experienced, highly organised Grants and Payroll Supervisor with experience working in a busy, control and customer service focussed environment. Accuracy, attention to detail, the ability to multitask and a can-do attitude are key to this role. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 2 days on-site. Full training will be provided.
Role Description
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the individual will provide cross functional support across this team. The main responsibilities will be supporting the grant administration process for staff leave and project focus. This will involve coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders. From a financial management perspective, key responsibilities include providing support for governance and oversight on:
The administration of approx. €900m per annum of Capital Investment funding with partners including public transport operators and local authorities;
The administration of approx. €600m per annum of Public Service Obligation funding with transport operators to provide transports services that are necessary but not commercially viable; and
The administration of approx. €36m in other transport funding.
