Corporate solicitor looking to work with blue-chip global clients

A leading Global law firm recognised as a "Leading firm' by Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 is now looking to add a Senior Associate Corporate solicitor to its growing Corporate Department in its Dublin office.

This opportunity is most suited to a Solicitor who has four to six years' relevant experience in a large corporate firm in Ireland or the UK and has partnership ambitions in the medium term.

Its corporate team operates across the firm's network in Europe, the Middle East and Asia and its clients include many leading national and multinational corporations, governments and regulatory bodies in energy & infrastructure, financial institutions, healthcare & life sciences and technology, media & telecommunications sectors.

As part of the firm's ambitious growth strategy in Dublin, the fulcrum of which is hiring and developing top talent, they are now seeking Associates to join its new Dublin corporate team. The Dublin corporate team primarily focuses on M&A, private equity and JV transactions in the asset management & investment funds, energy & infrastructure, financial institutions, healthcare & life sciences and technology, media & telecommunications sectors. The roles provides for the opportunity to work on high-value and often high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions.

The firm typically works on transactions of significant value and its caseload of work has remained strong during the Covid19 period and its pipeline forecasts further growth.

The Role:

  • Mergers & Acquisitions - public & private
  • Domestic and International Corporate Transactions
  • Strategic investments
  • Reorganisations and migrations
  • Restructurings
  • Shareholders agreements, joint ventures and partnerships
  • Company Law, Listing Rules, Takeover Rules
  • Merger Control and Anti-Trust

Solicitors will also participate in, and have access to, first-in-class training and global knowledge resources as part of the firm's commitment to developing Associates and optimising career progression in Dublin or on secondment to its international offices.

Person specification:

  • Excellent academics;
  • Qualified Solicitor, ideally 4-6 years' PQE;
  • Trained, qualified and practised with a leading firm in Ireland or the UK;
  • A desire to grow your personal network and business profile through business development initiatives; and
  • Ambitious, pro-active and collaborative.
