Job Description

Excellent opportunity for a strong German speaking Credit Control Analyst to work with a leading Pharma multinational based in South Co. Dublin.

As a Senior Credit & Collections Analyst at the EMEA Shared Services hub, you will play a key role in ensuring effective Credit & Collection processes and policies. Accountable for managing assigned customer portfolios, you will build strong relationships, standardize activities, and actively contribute to continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute day-to-day credit and collections functions within defined process standards.
  • Analyze and review credit assessments and terms for existing and new customers.
  • Drive cash collections for the assigned portfolio, meeting performance measures and KPIs.
  • Oversee cash application activities by the 3rd party provider, ensuring proper allocation.
  • Standardize credit and collections processes for the regional shared service organization.
  • Create, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with commercial stakeholders and regional finance teams.
  • Provide support in the maintenance, review, and update of global standard credit and collections processes.
  • Evaluate best practices with global peers and develop improvement suggestions.
  • Support internal and external audit queries, ensuring compliance and internal control integrity.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the credit and collections team, offering coaching, support, and training.

Key Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Professional Credit Management qualification preferred.
  • 5+ years of international credit experience, encompassing all aspects of credit management.
  • Prior experience in a captive SSC environment is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing customer financial statements.
  • Experience with 3rd party outsource providers is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English and native German.
  • Knowledge of overall Order to Cash (OTC) processes.
  • SAP ERP experience is a plus.
