Job Description

A new role has just come available with a Cork based client of mine. They are seeking an experienced Senior IT Auditor to join their auditing team.

The successful candidate will assist in the execution of internal audit initiatives under the guidance of the Director of Risk Management & Internal Audit and in accordance with the annual audit plan.

Please see below the following responsibilities and desired experience:

Responsibilities:

  • Strongly coordinate, interact with the Internal Audit team objectives.

  • Assist with all activities including: risk assessment, scoping, control documentation and updates and many more.

  • Plan, prepare and execute detailed audit programs for use in performing operational audits.

  • Maintain relationships across the business to collaborate on various initiatives.

  • Maintain a proactive, consultative mindset by seeking out methods to improve internal controls, minimise risk while balancing the objectives of the Company.

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • CISA or similar certification

  • 3+ years of experience working in an audit environment (internal or external), consulting, or information technology field.

  • Knowledge of relevant frameworks such as COSO and/or COBIT

  • Ability to interact with employees throughout the company, including in leadership in order to meet audit objectives

  • Experience in the technology industry or cloud-based service providers strongly preferred
