Job Description
Are an Accountant, that speaks fluent Hungarian and looking for an opportunity to work with an expanding multinational business?
We are working closely with this expanding multinational business as they look to add accountants to their high performing finance team. This company has worked in partnership with Morgan McKinley for a number of years to build a successful finance hub in Cork serving the finance needs of the company's wider global business.
This role sits within the clients Global Centre of Excellence for Finance and will give you exposure to working with multiple global entities, upskilling on state-of-the-art systems and unlimited career growth potential.
Experience working in a fast-paced multinational environment, dealing with multiple entities and stakeholders and also experience with an ERP system is a distinct advantage.
Your Role:
- Setting up the month-end accounting process for certain entities & business partnering with local stakeholders to ensure the process is correctly transitioned.
- Advising your local stakeholder group on finance procedures, & process improvements where possible.
- Assist in the execution of specific controls within accounting processes and other general accounting activities.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local GAAP accounting rules along with SOX where applicable.
Your Background:
The successful candidate will be a qualified accounting professional experienced with US GAAP and SAP and speaks fluent Hungarian.
Some key specifications you should have:
- 2+ years' experience in a high volume Financial/RTR Accounting role.
- An Accountancy qualification across ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA
- ERP System experience - SAP preferred
- Fluency in Hungarian is essential
