An Irish owned family ran building contractors who are in business for over 70 years are looking for a EHS Manager to join their busy team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct contribution to the development of the evolving Health, Safety and Environmental strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all employees understand and discharge their responsibilities regarding HSE. This will include onboarding of new starters into the SMS.
• Research and input into the development of advice and guidance documentation for the site teams.
• Develop and build towards delivery of training programs designed to support the implementation of the SMS.
• Ensure the system is delivering performance for the company, you will ensure the delivery of the inspection and audit program.
• Support the development of an app to support the implementation of the SMS. The rollout and management of this system will be a key part of your role, including further development to moving site safety documents, inductions, inspections, etc. to being completely digital.
• Undertake event reviews and ensure that the business learns and improves as a result.
• Provide advice on a proactive and reactive basis.
• Play a key role in supporting the business to maintain our A rated Safe-T-Cert accreditation.

Key Requirements:

• Level 7 or 8 Health and Safety Qualification - desirable but not essential
• 5 years' experience in construction environments
