Job Description

Our retail banking client is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to help support the efficient delivery of business objectives and support the day to day operations of the branch.

Your responsibilities
Our retail banking client is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to help support the efficient delivery of business objectives and support the day to day operations of the branch. There are 9 month fixed term contract opportunities based in their Patrick Street, Blackpool and Bishopstown branches in Cork City.

You will be responsible for assisting customers and performing various cash administration duties. You will take ownership of customer queries in an efficient, effective and compliant manner, and will assist with retaining existing business and actively contribute to growing new business across all customer segmentation profiles, in line with agreed branch requirements.

Another key aspect of the role is to generate and execute Sales leads and assist in Sales campaigns, including post Sales fulfillment, administration and follow up tasks.

Requirements - what we need from you!
-Previous experience of working in a fast paced Customer Service or Sales environment.

-Ordinary Leaving Certificate (or international equivalent) with minimum pass in English and Maths, or, by possessing either 10 years work experience or a Level 7 Degree or higher.

-Excellent communication, interpersonal and rapport building skills are essential.

-A passion for Sales, exceeding customer expectations and providing excellent customer service.

-Takes ownership of queries from start to finish with good attention to detail and strong problem solving and organisational skills.

-A confident, common sense approach to problem solving with a 'can-do' attitude.

-Flexibility in traveling to other branches in nearby areas.

Desirable Skills
-Previous Customer Service or Sales experience in a banking or financial services environment is highly desirable.

-A relevant APA or QFA qualification is also highly desirable.
