This is a newly created role with a significant budget behind it. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to identify, develop and execute projects in conjunction with the site management teams. The projects will span all operational areas such as R&D facilities, manufacturing facilities, warehousing & distribution facilities.
Duties & Responsibilites:
- Be able to account for project objectives, impacts and outcomes (milestones/dates, spend, environmental impacts, morale, training, new capacity release, business continuity matters etc.) and in so doing take a lead role in the prioritisation and sequencing of project work.
- Keep the site's Plan of Record live and updated, a continuously evolving 4-5 year forward plan that facilitates the site meeting its Business Plan.
- Provide advice and technical support to Site Operational Management in their efforts to maintain and improve quality, efficiency and capability.
- Manage the capital approval journey for the projects. Defining the scope of each project, costs, payback, environmental impacts etc.; ensuring support of local management teams and divisional managers; presenting and explaining to all relevant stakeholders.
- Manage project spend vs budget during execution.
- Keep abreast of new technology, equipment and processes.
Education Requirements:
- Engineering Degree Qualified.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a project management role in regulated manufacturing.
- Proven continuous improvement mindset.
