Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client to hire for a highly organised and proactive Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive support to senior executives within a dynamic professional services environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, excels at managing multiple priorities, and enjoys building strong working relationships across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take and screen calls (Mandarin Chinese competency required) and manage email correspondence.
- Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and make travel arrangements, including flights and accommodation.
- Arrange meeting rooms, test and set up electronic equipment, laptops, and projectors.
- File, maintain, and archive emails, documents, evidence, and court bundles.
- Prepare, send, and track bills; draft bill narrations and follow up on payments.
- Log billable time and assist with standard correspondence and legal precedents.
- Handle stationery and equipment requisitions.
- Support hearing administration, including photocopying, binding, tabbing, and setting up hearing locations.
- Assist with general administrative and ad hoc projects as required by management.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of 'O' Level, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in any discipline.
- At least 2 years of secretarial or personal assistant experience, preferably in a law firm.
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT-savvy.
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency is required.
