Join a global consulting and marketing company supporting major retail brands as an HR Generalist, covering a wide variety of HR tasks across recruitment, employee lifecycle management, HR administration, and compliance. In this role, you will lead staffing processes, manage HR documentation, support C&B and healthcare administration, and contribute to local HR policy implementation while working closely with the HR Manager. This position offers the opportunity to support employees directly and work within a diverse, people-first organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end staffing process using HR systems throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Handle recruitment and hiring activities to support business needs.
- Ensure organizational compliance with Japanese labor regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain HR-related documentation and employee records.
- Lead employee healthcare administration and support compensation and benefits processes.
- Assist the HR Manager with local HR policies, procedures, and operational initiatives.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle events to ensure smooth HR operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, including screening and hiring processes.
- Experience managing the employee lifecycle, onboarding, offboarding, and HR operations.
- Familiarity with HR systems and tools.
- Experience with payroll cycles, employee relations, and HR generalist responsibilities.
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines accurately.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent level.
- English: Intermediate to Business level.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- HR experience in multinational or global teams.
- Understanding of C&B administration and HR compliance.
