Join a global leader in risk assessment and actuarial analytics as a Senior Insurance Solutions Consultant. In this advisory-focused role, you will support insurance clients across Japan by providing expert guidance, solving complex modeling challenges, and helping them maximise value from advanced scenario modeling, liability valuation, and asset-liability management tools. You will collaborate with sales, product, and research teams while building long-term, trusted partnerships with leading insurers.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for insurance clients, building long-term, trust-based relationships
- Provide expert guidance on liability valuation, strategic asset allocation, capital modeling, and risk analytics
- Partner with sales as a technical specialist, delivering product demonstrations, POCs, and modeling support
- Execute service projects that apply risk modeling and financial analysis to real insurance challenges
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to drive effective solutions and improvements
- Support new business development and client retention initiatives to accelerate regional growth
- Develop recognised expertise in scenario modeling and regulatory/economic capital applications
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Deep understanding of actuarial methodologies, including deterministic and stochastic liability valuation
- Knowledge of capital calculations, investment risk, ALM/Strategic Asset Allocation
- Professional background in insurance or asset management; actuarial credentials or CFA preferred
- Bilingual proficiency (Japanese and English) with strong communication skills
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with an innovative, solutions-oriented mindset
- Customer-focused approach with ability to build trust and deliver technical excellence
- Effective collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
