Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, compliant pharmaceutical products to the domestic market
- Maintain and improve quality systems in line with current regulatory and company standards
- Track quality performance indicators and lead initiatives to meet site QA goals
- Coach and develop team members, promoting capability growth and QA culture
- Participate in site-wide improvement programs to boost operational efficiency and product reliability
- Support global QA initiatives and collaborate with international stakeholders as needed
- Contribute to safety and environmental programs to uphold safe work standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Several years of QA or production experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., pharmaceuticals, quasi-drugs, or cosmetics)
- Hands-on exposure to quality systems, compliance tasks, and documentation control
- Familiarity with manufacturing and release processes under Japanese or global quality guidelines
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience improving or maintaining QA systems in a manufacturing context
- Ability to guide and support team members while upholding high-quality standards
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Basic to conversational level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of Japan's regulatory frameworks (e.g., MHLW, PMDA)
- Experience working with global QA teams in a matrix environment
- Capability to represent QA in internal audits or external inspections
