A global fintech leader is seeking a Mobile QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of consumer and merchant-facing mobile applications. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, product, and release management teams to design and execute testing strategies across iOS and Android platforms. You will contribute to stable releases, improved automation coverage, and high-quality digital payment experiences in a fast-moving fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional and regression testing cycles for mobile applications.
- Coordinate release calendars and ensure deployment readiness across teams.
- Manage defect triage processes and maintain accurate release documentation.
- Support cross-functional release governance and quality assurance processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in manual QA testing within software or mobile development environments.
- Experience with release management processes and SDLC methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL and software testing frameworks.
- Strong documentation and test case development skills.
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
- Proactive problem solver who can identify quality issues early.
- Collaborative team player comfortable working with engineers and product teams.
- Strong communication skills for reporting defects, risks, and testing outcomes.
- Strong sense of ownership toward product stability and user experience.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Conversational level
- English: Fluent
