Working within an international and English-speaking environment, you will collaborate with talented professionals to design scalable AI solutions leveraging the latest advancements in Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced RAG pipelines and autonomous AI agent workflows to power next-generation coaching platforms.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build innovative AI solutions that address complex business challenges.
- Build, optimize, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Django.
- Implement and manage vector databases, embedding models, and retrieval systems to maximize context accuracy and AI performance.
- Work with stakeholders to integrate advanced LLM technologies into scalable client-facing products and business solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Proven experience developing applications using Python and modern Python web frameworks such as FastAPI or Django.
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, vector databases, and embedding models.
- Strong practical knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and agentic workflow orchestration.
- Experience building scalable backend systems, APIs, and AI-driven applications.
- Must currently reside in Japan and possess a valid working visa.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Language Requirements
- English: Business-level proficiency.
- Japanese: Basic-level proficiency.
- Bilingual English and Japanese communication skills are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience deploying cloud-based applications using AWS.
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) frameworks and implementations.
- Background in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Advanced knowledge of Django architecture, performance tuning, and database optimization.
