You will own the search platform's product strategy, roadmap, feature priorities, and success metrics while working at the intersection of Product Management, Search Technology, Data, AI, and Software Engineering.
As a key technical contact for internal clients and stakeholders, you will drive platform integrations, migrations, product adoption, and end-to-end feature delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the Search Platform product strategy, roadmap, priorities, and success metrics in alignment with broader business objectives.
- Lead product planning and prioritisation for search technologies supporting high-volume e-commerce and digital services.
- Serve as the primary technical product contact for clients and stakeholders, driving platform integrations, migrations, and product adoption.
- Lead end-to-end feature delivery, from requirements gathering and technical specifications through development coordination and launch.
- Partner closely with engineering, data, operations, and business teams to translate customer and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Define feature priorities and manage the product backlog using Agile product development methodologies.
- Design and oversee A/B testing and data analysis to measure product performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Continuously improve search relevance, platform performance, scalability, and overall user experience.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, data, and operations to ensure successful product delivery.
- Maintain clear stakeholder communication regarding product strategy, priorities, dependencies, progress, and outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Product Management.
- Proven professional experience working with Search or Recommendation Systems, preferably within an e-commerce environment.
- Demonstrated experience defining product roadmaps, prioritising features, and managing product delivery.
- Experience leading technical products or features through the complete lifecycle from requirements gathering to launch.
- Strong understanding of Agile product development and delivery methodologies.
- Experience working closely with software engineering, data, operations, and other technical teams.
- Experience using product metrics and data to support prioritisation and decision-making.
Soft Skills:
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a clear sense of ownership and accountability.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate challenges from customer, business, product, and technical perspectives.

- Hands-on experience with Search, Recommendation Systems, analytics platforms, or developer platform infrastructure.
- Experience working with Machine Learning, AI models, or data-intensive systems.
- Previous software engineering or other technical engineering experience.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems or highly scalable digital platforms.
- Experience working within a global or multinational technology organisation.
- Knowledge of e-commerce search, ranking, personalisation, or recommendation technologies.
