Key Responsibilities
- Support senior Relationship Managers in managing and developing relationships with large corporate clients in Japan.
- Understand clients' business strategies and financing requirements to identify relevant corporate banking opportunities.
- Conduct financial and credit analysis, including financial statement reviews and creditworthiness assessments, to support lending decisions and credit reviews.
- Collaborate with internal product teams across lending, cash management, foreign exchange, capital markets, and risk management solutions.
- Prepare client presentations, internal approval materials, financial analysis, and proposals for new business opportunities.
- Support transaction execution by coordinating with clients, product specialists, Credit, Risk, and other internal stakeholders.
- Monitor client performance, industry developments, and market trends to identify emerging business opportunities and potential risks.
- Contribute to deepening client relationships and expanding the bank's overall corporate banking business in Japan.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Corporate Banking, Credit Analysis, Relationship Management, or a related banking function.
- Strong experience in financial and credit analysis, including reviewing corporate financial statements and assessing creditworthiness.
- Experience supporting or managing relationships with large corporate clients in Japan.
- Good knowledge of corporate banking products, including lending, cash management, foreign exchange, and capital markets solutions.
- Experience collaborating with internal Product, Credit, and Risk teams to support client transactions and approval processes.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills for working effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced banking environment.

Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level.
- English: Intermediate to Business level for communication within an international banking environment.

- Broad knowledge of corporate banking products and solutions.
