Join a leading global semiconductor manufacturer as the HRBP Director for Japan, partnering directly with senior leaders to drive people strategies that strengthen organizational performance. In this high-impact role, you will oversee the HR Business Partner function, lead HR transformation initiatives, and ensure alignment with global HR programs. You will play a key role in shaping Japan's HR strategy, driving cultural initiatives, and supporting business transformation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior business leaders to design and execute people strategies that enhance business performance.
- Work with Global HR Centers of Excellence to adapt and deliver HR initiatives tailored for Japan.
- Lead organizational change programs to support business transformation and adoption across teams.
- Promote and reinforce a positive corporate culture while elevating organizational performance.
- Oversee Japan HR projects by identifying risks, assessing impacts, planning mitigation actions, and managing dependencies.
- Guide and develop the HR Business Partner team through coaching, leadership, and role-model behaviour.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Over 15 years of professional HR experience within international HR structures.
- At least 8 years of leadership or team-management experience with a strong track record of achieving results through others.
- Demonstrated experience driving HR transformation initiatives; HR PMO or similar experience is highly advantageous.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level.
- English: Intermediate to Business level proficiency.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in complex global organizations.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple regions.
