As a Network Project Manager, you will lead high-impact infrastructure initiatives that support large-scale, internet-facing systems used by millions of users worldwide. Based in Tokyo, you will collaborate with local and international teams to ensure secure, stable, and scalable network operations in a fast-paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent network infrastructure projects to support system reliability, security, and long-term growth
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including network engineers, tool developers, and global stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Oversee lifecycle management initiatives such as End-of-Life (EOL) device migrations and OS version upgrades across large-scale environments
- Lead capacity planning projects involving internet-facing routers, data centre circuits, and network enhancements
- Drive clear communication through regular reporting, presentations, and stakeholder updates to support timely decision-making
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on project management experience, preferably in IT or infrastructure environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with competing priorities
- Strong experience in schedule management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving ability and adaptability in high-pressure infrastructure environments
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-border teams
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Business-fluent (mandatory)
- English: Conversational level or higher (preferred)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Project management experience within network or infrastructure-focused environments
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
- Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
