A leading Japanese retail company is seeking a skilled IT Risk Project Manager to oversee enterprise-wide IT risk initiatives within its expanding e-commerce operations. This role focuses on strengthening IT governance, enhancing risk management frameworks, and improving operational resilience. You will play a critical part in aligning IT risk strategy with overall business objectives in a fast-evolving retail technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor IT risk management projects across the organization.
- Build and enhance IT risk frameworks including IT-BCP, ITGC, IT Resiliency, and Crisis Management.
- Manage project teams and ensure effective delivery of risk-related initiatives.
- Develop and promote adherence to IT risk policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to strengthen enterprise IT risk controls.
- Increase organizational awareness and provide education on IT risk management practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Practical experience in IT risk management areas such as IT-BCP, ITGC, IT Resiliency, and Crisis Management.
- Experience managing IT risk-related projects within corporate environments.
Soft Skills:
- Deep understanding of IT risk management frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Strong consulting, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication ability.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
