A leading cloud banking software provider is seeking a Financial Technology Deployment Consultant to join its Tokyo team. In this client-facing consulting role, you will lead the implementation, configuration, and integration of enterprise financial management platforms for major banking institutions across Japan.
Working alongside implementation partners, developers, and enterprise clients, you will design scalable cloud-based solutions, optimize system architecture, and support digital transformation initiatives within the financial services industry. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client business requirements and recommend enterprise cloud banking solutions that align with operational objectives.
- Review application architecture and system configurations to ensure technical quality, scalability, and compliance with business requirements.
- Configure enterprise financial software, develop automation logic, and integrate solutions using APIs and modern cloud technologies.
- Advise clients and implementation partners on solution architecture, customization strategies, and industry best practices.
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical workshops, and user training for both technical and business stakeholders.
- Manage customer relationships throughout implementation projects and coordinate successful handovers to Customer Success teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of complex financial technology projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Over 6 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in cloud infrastructure, enterprise software implementation, database architecture, or systems integration.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, enterprise application architecture, and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and enterprise software ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, software configuration, and enterprise system deployment within financial services or fintech environments.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to system implementation challenges.
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Collaborative mindset with strong project ownership and accountability.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Business to Intermediate level
