Key Responsibilities
- Manage Japanese Equity Finance trading activities within the Prime Services business.
- Provide equity financing solutions to APAC financial institutions and institutional clients.
- Execute and manage equity finance transactions while optimizing trading performance and risk.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, internal sales teams, and global trading desks.
- Monitor market trends, financing opportunities, and liquidity conditions to support trading strategies.
- Collaborate with Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure efficient trade execution and regulatory compliance.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of the Prime Services platform.
- Deliver market insights and trading updates to senior stakeholders and clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience as a Prime Services Equity Finance Trader within an investment bank in Japan.
- Proven experience trading Japanese Equities and managing equity financing products.
- Strong understanding of Prime Services, securities financing, and equity markets.
- Experience covering institutional or financial institution clients across APAC.
- Demonstrated ability to manage trading risk and execute complex financing transactions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Commercial mindset with strong client focus.
