Key Responsibilities
- Lead regulatory transaction reporting activities across Japan and other Asian markets, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Partner with business, compliance, technology, and operations stakeholders to interpret regulatory requirements and develop practical business solutions.
- Support regulatory change initiatives, system enhancements, new business implementations, and process improvement projects.
- Investigate and resolve reporting issues while strengthening controls, improving data accuracy, and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with regulators, exchanges, industry groups, and internal stakeholders to support regulatory compliance.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and inclusive working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in regulatory reporting, operations, compliance, business management, or other related control functions within financial services.
- Experience working with financial products, transaction reporting, operational processes, or regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience supporting regulatory, operational, or technology-driven change initiatives.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment while managing multiple priorities.
