Join a global biotechnology leader as a Digital Account Manager, driving sales growth and managing client relationships across Japan.
This is a remote-friendly role where you will leverage digital channels to engage customers, promote biotech and life sciences solutions, and contribute to revenue growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value to clients while supporting the development of life-saving medical technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales using phone, video, and email channels to engage clients across Japan.
- Identify and approach new prospects to expand the customer base and business opportunities.
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to deliver accurate product information and solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and maintain CRM data and customer records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (Science or Biotech preferred).
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in sales or customer service.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and handling technical product information.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with high emotional intelligence.
- Proactive, self-motivated mindset with a goal-oriented approach.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Basic to conversational level (TOEIC 500+ preferred)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industries (3+ years preferred)
- Ability to participate in global meetings and cross-border collaboration
- Experience analyzing sales data to improve performance strategies
- Familiarity with Salesforce or AI-driven sales tools
