In this leadership role, you will oversee the full spectrum of compensation and benefits programs for Japan, providing strategic direction, ensuring compliance, and partnering with executive leaders to deliver competitive and sustainable reward structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of compensation and benefits programs for the Japan market.
- Support executive compensation processes, including benchmarking and Compensation Committee decision-making.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and Payroll teams to ensure alignment with company goals and compliance requirements.
- Oversee C&B administration and compliance to local and global standards.
- Manage and mentor a small team, promoting operational excellence and professional development.
- Evaluate market trends and data analytics to recommend strategic compensation actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 7+ years in Compensation and Benefits, with 3+ years in managerial or leadership roles.
- Hands-on experience in executive compensation, benchmarking, and program management.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent (required).
- English: Fluent (required).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage complex C&B programs in multinational environments.
