    Account Manager - Global Fintech Data Solutions Provider

    About the job

    Join a leading global fintech company providing market intelligence and data solutions to optimize resource allocation and improve transparency across the chemical and oil industries. As an Account Manager, you will develop and maintain long-term executive relationships across a portfolio of key regional accounts. This role requires a balance of strategic relationship management, business growth initiatives, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive customer success and revenue growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders in the assigned account portfolio.
    • Drive account planning, business development, and revenue expansion through client engagement.
    • Lead negotiations, proposal creation, and deal closure to achieve business targets.
    • Coordinate with internal departments such as Product, Marketing, and Operations to ensure seamless client delivery.
    • Conduct forecasting, pipeline analysis, and performance reporting for strategic decision-making.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    Experience:
    • Proven track record in B2B sales or account management, preferably within data, technology, or financial services sectors.
    • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce for tracking and pipeline management.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a business-oriented mindset.
    Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
    Language Requirements:
    • Japanese: Native level (required for client communication and presentations).
    • English: Intermediate to Business level (for reporting and internal communication).
    Soft Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
    • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
    • Proactive, motivated, and results-driven with a passion for learning and growth.

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience managing clients within industrial, chemical, or energy markets.
    • Background in data intelligence or SaaS industries.
    • Ability to work effectively in multicultural, fast-paced environments.
