A globally recognized travel technology platform is seeking a commercially driven Market Manager to expand its accommodation partner network across Fukuoka and key regional markets in Japan. This position focuses on building and strengthening relationships with hotels, serviced apartments, villa operators, vacation rental businesses, and regional property management companies.
As part of a growing regional expansion team, you will contribute to partner acquisition, portfolio growth, and strategic market development activities. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in OTA, travel, tourism, hospitality, or business development who are passionate about driving commercial growth within a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with accommodation operators and local business partners across the assigned region.
- Identify new partnership opportunities and support onboarding activities for accommodation partners.
- Advise partners on improving platform visibility, booking performance, pricing strategies, and overall business growth.
- Monitor market trends, seasonal travel demand, pricing movements, and competitor activity within the local market.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and partner satisfaction.
- Maintain regular communication with assigned partners and provide data-driven performance recommendations.
- Support regional business expansion initiatives by contributing local market insights and commercial strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of account performance, partner activities, and business progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Previous experience in sales, business development, hospitality, tourism, OTA, or accommodation-related industries.
- Experience working with hotels, serviced apartments, short-term rentals, villa operators, or property management businesses is highly preferred.
- Ability to independently manage regional territories and prioritize multiple commercial responsibilities.
- Comfortable balancing both relationship management and new business development activities.
- Bachelor's degree and over 3 years of professional experience required.

- Commercially minded with a proactive and practical working style.
