Roles/Responsibilities

  • Identify critical project stakeholders (Customers Success, Product Management, Business Units) and partner with them to define projects' objectives, roadmaps, acceptance criterions and delivery plans.
  • Understand requirements, plan implementation strategy and set delivery targets. Work with functional managers and with vendors' managers to define project resource requirements and acquire needed resources.
  • Lead project Teams ensuring delivery and value creation as per defined plans. Operate in an iterative environment, focus on driving priority features and value creation.
  • Continuously inspect the progress of each project and provide regular updates for key stakeholders clearly communicating current status, expected schedule andpotential risks.
  • Risk management. Implementation of preventative/corrective measures if deviations from plans are detected.
  • Promote a healthy productive relationship within Teams; timely detect problems; facilitate their fastest resolution in order to maintain Teams in effective order.
  • Apply analysis based on in-depth research and interpretive thinking. Collect and utilize data (quality metrics, delivery rate, satisfaction surveys etc.) to identify improvement opportunities

Required skills

  • Strong ownership and high adaptability in fast-paced growth environments. Good ability to work with ambiguity.
  • At least 3-5+ years of practical Project Management experience in complex technical projects. Proven record of delivering Business results.
  • Perfect understanding of traditional plan-driven Project Management and full proficiency in its knowledge areas
  • (scope/schedule/cost/quality/resource/communication/procurement/risk/stakeholders/integration management).
  • Experience of working in Agile frameworks (i.e. Scrum), their application areas, rules, roles, events and artifacts.
  • Effective leadership and influencing skills. Ability to coach people. Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong process improvement desire.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience of working in multicultural environments with geographically distributed Teams.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English; ability to clearly communicate information with required modality.
  • Solid experience of working with with modern project management tools (i.e. JIRA/Confluence, Trello, Clarizen, Teamwork etc.)

Preferred skills

  • Project Management certifications (i.e. PMP).
  • Technical background (as a Software development, System engineering etc.), strong interest for learning cutting-edge technologies.
  • General understanding of NLU/NLP concepts. Experience in conversational AI technologies such as IBM Watson Assistant, Nuance, Google Dialogflow etc.
  • Basic Japanese skill

Personal Attributes

  • Project Manager is expected to lead Delivery Teams consisting of cross-functional members with accountability for the final outcome produced by those Teams.
