Executive Assistant to the CEO
Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid - minimum 3 days per week in the London office, with flexibility to attend more frequently when required. UK travel may also be required.
The Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to a Chief Executive Officer within a large, complex organisation.
Acting as a trusted partner to the CEO, you will manage their time, priorities and key relationships, while providing high-quality support across executive meetings, governance and strategic activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a complex CEO diary and inbox, prioritising competing demands and protecting the CEO's time.
- Act as a trusted gatekeeper, managing access and relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Support Board and executive governance, including agendas, papers, meeting preparation, actions and follow-up.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, strategic offsites and other high-profile engagements.
- Arrange UK and international travel, including at short notice.
- Manage expenses, approvals and other executive administration.
- Support customer meetings, conferences, town halls and regional events.
- Handle highly confidential, commercially sensitive and personal information with discretion.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders, Board members and external stakeholders.
- Anticipate the CEO's needs and proactively identify ways to improve efficiency.
- Use AI and digital tools to improve productivity and streamline processes.
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience supporting a CEO or C-suite executive.
- Excellent diary, inbox, travel, meeting and executive governance experience.
- Confident dealing with Board members, senior executives and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional organisation, prioritisation, judgement and attention to detail.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Outlook.
- Comfortable using AI-enabled productivity tools.
- Flexible and willing to travel across the UK when required.
