Role Profile
Excellent opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join the Accounting & Reporting team of a large multinational organisation. The successful candidate will support A&R Managers and Senior Managers to ensure timely and accurate financial accounting and management reporting, with responsibility for period-end, year-end, and planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit monthly and year-end financial and management accounts and reporting packs to senior management
- Prepare consolidated group and subsidiary financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards
- Manage monthly and annual financial consolidation, producing reports and analysis for senior leadership and reporting purposes
- Provide analysis and supporting information to help management understand business performance and drive decision-making
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and relevant controls
- Support ad hoc operational and commercial reporting requirements
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects as required
- Identify opportunities to enhance and improve controls, systems, and processes in line with evolving business needs
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and contribute to statutory reporting and tax compliance
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures
Key Requirements:
- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA)
- 2-3 years' post-qualification experience, ideally in a multinational organisation or professional practice
- Strong financial reporting (IAS/IFRS) and risk management experience
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, including report writing and stakeholder engagement
- Highly analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to work with detail while thinking strategically
- Collaborative and able to influence colleagues at all levels
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP, data warehousing platforms, or report design is desirable
