We are partnering with a leading, Irish-owned FMCG company, who are looking for an Internal Audit & Risk Manager.
This is a newly created role within a growing Internal Audit & Risk function and offers a genuine opportunity to influence the organisation's assurance, governance and risk agenda.
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit & Risk, you will play a key leadership role, taking ownership of end-to-end audit and advisory engagements while managing and developing a team of two Internal Audit & Risk Business Partners.
With offices in Dublin West, they are operating with a hybrid working model (3 days onsite) and would be offering a competitive salary and bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver high-quality internal audit and advisory reviews in line with professional standards
- Produce clear, actionable audit reports that support effective risk-based decision making
- Oversee audit issue follow-up and escalate critical or overdue actions
- Support enterprise risk management activities, including risk workshops, registers and senior leadership reporting
- Manage sensitive assignments such as fraud reviews and whistleblowing investigations
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to promote a strong risk and control culture
- Contribute to major business initiatives, providing insight on risk, control and governance matters
- Champion continuous improvement, innovation and the use of technology across audit and risk processes
- Coach, mentor and develop team members, fostering collaboration, inclusion and shared learning
Minimum Requirements:
- 6+ years' experience in internal/external audit, internal controls or risk, with people management experience
- Strong knowledge of governance, risk and internal control frameworks
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA or equivalent)
- Strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full driving licence and fluent English
