Our client in the tech sector is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its Dublin-based finance team. Having built a strong retail presence over the past decade, the company is now scaling rapidly in the digital space, with growth increasingly driven by online sales and technology.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business at the forefront of a fast-changing market, where you'll gain exposure across the full finance function and work closely with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts and journals
- Reconciliations and maintenance of key control accounts across multiple revenue streams
- Oversight of fixed assets and inventory control
- Intercompany reconciliations and balance agreement
- Analysis and reporting on digital sales, partnerships, and performance metrics
- Managing compliance, audit, and taxation requirements for multiple entities
- Ensuring strong financial controls and continuously improving processes
- Supporting ad hoc projects and commercial decision-making through data-driven analysis
Skills & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ideally 1-2 years PQE)
- Strong experience in reconciliations and handling large datasets
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query a strong advantage)
- Previous staff supervision/review experience (bank recs, payroll, AP) desirable
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency in MS Office
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to work cross-functionally and with external partners
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders
