    About the job

    Excellent opportunity for a strong Accounts Payable Executive to join finance team of a public sector body based in Dublin 6. You will be responsible for end-to-end Accounts Payable procedures and assisting with financial reporting for the group.

    • Permanent position
    • Hybrid working 3 days in office p/w after initial training
    • 35 hours per week
    • Flexi-starting time between 08.00 - 10.00
    • Grade IV Salary Scale: Starting at €35,000 - rising to €50,000 (applicants with public sector experience will be considered at relevant point to their scale)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Managing end to end accounts payable processes
    • Using Excel for tracking of payments
    • Processing purchase requisitions for all departments
    • Dealing with supplier queries and completing reconciliations of supplier statements
    • Managing the accounting emails and resolving queries from suppliers
    • Assisting with cash management and lodgements
    • Responsible for petty cash reconciliations and expenses management
    • Producing monthly and quarterly AP reports
    • Reviewing contracts and managing renewals of expiring contracts
    • Assisting with travel and expense processes
    • Assisting with ad hoc finance duties when needed

    Key Skills/Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1-4 years Accounts Payable experience
    • Knowledge of manual and automated AP and PO & non PO processes
    • Previous HSE/public sector experience is desirable
    • Experience working with SAP is an advantage
    • Proven at delivering results in a fast paced and high-volume environment
