The Senior Process Engineer will lead multidisciplinary teams through the full lifecycle of process system projects - from design and procurement through to fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
The role involves significant client interaction, technical oversight, and team coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both engineering and leadership responsibilities.
Lead and coordinate small project teams delivering process system and skid-based equipment projects.
Oversee all aspects of project delivery including design, scheduling, procurement, and quality control.
Act as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for clients.
Liaise with mechanical, electrical, and automation engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
Manage suppliers, subcontractors, and documentation through to project handover.
Support the development of graduate and junior engineers.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Chemical Engineering with strong mechanical bias).
Experience in process systems, project engineering, or mechanical design within the biotech, food, beverage, or manufacturing sectors.
Proven track record in delivering complex process projects involving piping, skids, and mechanical assemblies.
Strong commercial awareness and client-facing experience.
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Self-motivated and proactive, with ambition to progress into engineering or project management leadership.
