About The Role
We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join a leader in textile, hygiene, and facility services to oversee maintenance and engineering across their multi-site facility.
You will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency, while
leading and developing a large technical team. You will manage preventative maintenance,
diagnostics, CAPEX projects, budgets, and the TOMS Maintenance System to drive excellence
across the site.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead and manage the day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring minimal downtime
and maximum equipment reliability.
● Oversee and optimise the preventative maintenance programme using TOMS CMMS.
● Plan and manage CAPEX and engineering projects from design through to installation
and commissioning.
● Develop, monitor, and manage maintenance budgets, including forecasting and cost
control.
● Lead, mentor, and develop a large technical team, fostering a culture of safety and
continuous improvement.
● Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment faults to minimise production disruption.
● Maintain maintenance procedures, SOPs, and documentation, ensuring compliance and
continuous improvement.
● Drive initiatives to improve asset reliability, efficiency, and process improvement.
● Collaborate closely with production, quality, and H&S teams to support seamless
operations.
Skills & Experience Required
● Qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer (trade or third-level qualification)
● 2-3 years' experience as a Senior Maintenance Supervisor managing a large team
● Proven maintenance management experience in linen, food, meat, or plastics
manufacturing
● Strong leadership, budgeting, CAPEX project management, and troubleshooting skills
● Hands-on experience with CMMS and plant utilities
