Global Lease Accountant

A global organisation is seeking a Global Lease Accountant to support lease accounting activities across multiple entities.

The role will focus on applying IFRS 16 to real estate and non-real estate leases, supporting accurate reporting, system reconciliations, and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Account for leases including ROU assets, lease liabilities, amortisation, and remeasurements

• Prepare lease calculations and support statutory reporting and disclosures

• Reconcile lease systems with ERP platforms and resolve discrepancies

• Apply IFRS 16 guidance to complex scenarios and document key judgments

• Support audits and contribute to process and system improvements

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent)

• 2-3+ years' accounting or reporting experience

• Strong ERP experience (SAP or similar)

• IFRS 16 knowledge or exposure preferred
