    About the job

    We are currently seeking detail-oriented Customer Support Representatives to work on behalf of national awarding body responsible for further and higher education grants in Ireland. This is an essential service that supports a diverse range of students-from school leavers to mature learners-in accessing the funding they need for third-level education. If you are looking for a professional role within a highly regulated environment, this is an excellent opportunity to build your career in public-service support.

    Working model: Remote working options available, training and Go Live fully onsite

    6 month temporary contract

    Hourly rate: €14.15 per hour

    Shift rotations 08:00 - 16:30 & 09:00 - 17:30 Monday - Friday

    In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    • Managing a high volume of inbound communications via telephone, email, and social media platforms
    • Guiding applicants through the grant process, providing expert advice on eligibility, application status, and payment schedules.
    • Reviewing and validating sensitive financial and legal documentation to ensure compliance with strict national regulations.
    • Taking ownership of queries from start to finish, ensuring a seamless and empathetic experience for every student.
    • Adhering to departmental guidelines and data protection protocols at all times.

    The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations in a simple, friendly manner.
    • A strong analytical "eye for detail" for assessing documentation and identifying missing information.
    • Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace with high-speed broadband to support a Work From Home (WFH) setup.
    • Previous experience in a regulated environment-such as banking, insurance, or the public sector-is a distinct advantage.
    • Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously and manage professional social media interactions.
