Roles/Responsibilities
- Monitor regulatory change and provide concise impact assessments to key stakeholders
- Provide Compliance subject matter expertise on Japan regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues from the business as well as Internal Risk Management and Compliance teams to identify current and emerging risks
Required skills
- 5 years minimum of people management experience, experience in leading a mid-large size compliance team and experience in working in a multinational company
- Ability to interpret the regulatory requirements, guidance, and developments and clearly communicate implications to a range of audiences
Preferred skills
- Master's degree in Law, or other relevant fields
- Hands on experience in implementing compliance programs to address key regulatory risks
- Strong knowledge of the payments and consumer credit regulatory framework in Japan
- Strong analytical skills and experience in reporting
