This is a long term hourly rate contract position with rates depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and install Electrical and safety control system as part of a highly automated, high volume 24/7 validated production environment.
- Work within a multi-functional multidiscipline team environment.
- Participates within project teams, provide technical support, and make informed decisions on Electrical and control system hardware and architecture selection.
- Fault-find complex automation equipment and safety control systems.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of code to Medical Device standards.
- Carry out functional safety and electrical safety assessments on safety control circuits.
- Manage introduction of new site electrical requirements document with vendors.
- Inspect new and existing vendor electrical equipment for compliance with JJV Electrical requirements.
- Update site electrical standards to reflect new external standards and new types of equipment.
- Monitor introduction of site electrical power up plan and deal with any queries.
- Maintain electrical drawing software network licensing systems.
Experience and Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Relevant Experience.
- Typically, 3+ years in a similar role.
- Electrical Engineer / Electrical PM experience.
