Excellent opportunity for a highly motivated graduate to join an established Dublin Accountancy practice as a Tax Trainee!

Our client is a boutique firm of specialist tax advisers with an opening in their tax
trainee programme. They work with a broad range of clients providing compliance and practical
consultancy advice across all tax heads.
As a tax trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to interesting tax
assignments and develop your tax technical expertise in tandem with compliance experience.
All trainees are mentored by senior staff who possess a broad range of skills and experience,
offering the successful candidate an opportunity to develop tax technical and business skills
in a supportive environment.
The Role:
The position involves tax compliance work initially, and over the 4 year training program
you will gain practical experience across a range of tax heads with the option of developing
consultancy skills as your tax technical knowledge develops.
Training is tiered and progressive and the level of responsibility and exposure to more complex tax issues will
increase as your skills develop. You will interact directly with clients, government agencies and other professional services firms.
You will successfully complete the Irish Taxation Institute's Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA)
exams as part of the training contract.
What Do They Offer?
The successful candidate will be provided with continuous training & development, with hands-on tax experience
and exposure to the practicalities of running a business, throughout the training contract. You
will be offered full support in undertaking the Irish Taxation Institute's CTA exams and will
benefit from internal training to complement the ITI course and manuals.
The ideal candidate:
You will:
* have or be anticipating a 2.1 honours degree, ideally in business or law (some taxation
content would be a big advantage),
* a high level of transferable skills such as problem solving, and the ability to analyse
problems and implement solutions individually and as part of a team
* excellent organisational skills
* an aptitude for numeracy
