Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts
- Preparation of bi-monthly board packs/reports and presentation of same to Board
- Preparation of annual business plan
- Preparation and presentation of detailed reports on financial performance vs budget around, revenues, gross margin and costs to support business decision making.
- Manage cashflow and cashflow forecasting and lead in the implementation of initiatives to improve net working capital.
- Prepare, present and file all necessary regulatory, Tax, Co-Sec and Legal returns.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of Group Statutory audit and tax compliance.
- Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place throughout the organisation
- Continue system implementation initiatives n)
- Drive initiatives to automate, simplify and optimise business processes.
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable functions.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA Qualified accountant with 7+ years PQE
- Proven leadership experience managing a finance function
- Excellent communicator with experience of presenting to a Board
- Knowledge of SAGE 200 is a distinct advantage
- Great attention to detail, with strength in analysing and presenting financial data
- Strong commercial awareness with ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of wider business factors.
